Questions
Do you keep my files?
Uploaded files are deleted automatically within 12 hours. Your transcripts are yours: delete one, a whole session, or everything at any time — deletion takes effect immediately.
Do you use my data to train AI?
No. TranscriptX does not use your files or transcripts to train models.
What happens if I run out of credits in the middle of a file?
The file still finishes. You see the beginning, and the rest opens when you sign in (if you're a guest) or go Pro. Nothing is lost and you don't have to run it again. It also opens by itself when your credits reset.
What is a credit?
1 credit = 1 minute of audio. Your credits reset every day at 00:00 UTC.
What's the difference between Guest and Free?
Both are free. Signing in gives you more credits each day and keeps your history forever, on every device.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes, in one click from your account menu. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, and your transcripts stay yours.
